Planning the team, work, activities, and resources for the project.

Communication of the plan with members of the project team and other stakeholders.

Estimating and budgeting time, costs, and quality required to achieve the project goals.

Scheduling and changing the project timeline to accommodate any challenges or changes in scope.

Recording project results, evaluating project effectiveness and planning the transition to an entirely new project.

The project’s responsibility is defined and assigning each task to a member of the team.

Breaking down massive and overwhelming projects into smaller, more manageable tasks.

Using tools like Gantt charts and a work breakdown structure (WBS) to create visual timelines, plan out tasks as well as adjust schedules and link tasks.

Collaboration with different project team members and stakeholders to be aware of their needs, concerns and expectations.

Create a shared vision, and a strategy for communication, to ensure that all team members are aware of the mission and how they are aligned with the goals of the company. They must also be aware of their role in achieving these objectives.

Ensuring all project team members and other stakeholders are fully involved throughout the project from the beginning of the project to its completion.

Making sure all aspects of board room the project, such as deliverables, communications, and risk management, are documented and stored to be used in the future.

When the project is finished, an effective project manager is on the lookout for any outstanding invoices and arranges an informal meeting to review the project’s success or highlight ways in which similar projects could be improved.
